Car designer Harsha Vardhan suggests that this two-wheeler concept is the car of the future. His Transporter TW (Twin Wheel) is a single-seater electric vehicle that uses magnetic fields for driving the car. The two gianormous wheels, suspended over a superconducting fluid, are propelled by those shifting magnetic fields. Thus the power generation, and motion of the car, is a nice noiseless and smooth ride.

My contempt of the new automobiles stems not from anger but the fact I know how to make an engine that's 1100% more powerful than any combustion engine so that people could keep their SUV's and Hummers and big pickemup trucks.
You people are being herded down a cattle chute and it isn't pretty. But my engine combines super cold liquid air with super heated steam, a climate engine, a canned tornado. However, besides my several engines that produce ZERO POLLUTANTS there's also another fellow named Pantone who has made an engine he calls GEET.
I have looked at it and know how it works enough to say it will also keep people using their large cars. Detroit is once again GOING THE WRONG WAY.

I had a scan some years ago, not sure what radiation was used, but the pretty x-ray technician assured me it couldn't harm me. So I lad there on the table totally seduced by her assurance while she proceeded to melt the cartilage in my right upper ear that would continue burning inside like a hard sunburn for the next 4 years.
No, the magnetic will not harm you. Go buy one.
In fact, here, take my place in line.
While you're at it buy one of those low weight little cars too. That way the people at the top can keep driving what they want while your flat a** is being scraped off the highway and carried to the landfill oops, the morgue for a proper burial. And any sorry hitchhiker you gave a ride to.
Or your newborn.

Are there any public health risks? Can magnetic fields affect brain function?

Walk out back of Deadman's Curve? Walk out backwards after hitting just one pothole on one side and not the other? Gee, Mom, was that a FRISBEE I just saw? I'm going to guess here uhm, it costs $145,000 right? hahaha I knew it! Ya can't pull the eyes over my wool damn you.
I stood inside a strong magnetic field once. It was... exciting.

Not a bad proof of concept but there are seriously going to have to revisit the aesthetics a tad.

what happens if you hit the brakes hard at high speed? does the cab fip over and over? on hard acceleration does the cab ride up to the top of the wheels?

Reminds me of that vehicle that Mr. Garrison invented in a South Park episode.

the concept hasn't been perfected, as it's been done before. perhaps some tweaking or scrapping the idea and not replicating shit from starwars II. the movie sucked and anything resembling it will not work.

On the contrary, starwars 1-3 was little more than throwing a few shitty actors infront of a green screen and improving how to get from point A (anakin)to point B(vader).

Great concept. Needs adjustment. Just like the smart car...it looks dangerous for the driver.

Not sure I like the design however using magnetic fields is pure genious. The crashes would be epic.
